The management team specifically designed the program to eliminate the operational problems associated with dental health maintenance organizations. The QCD Program design emphasizes the creation of a win-win situation for both the member and affiliated dentist in a managed cost environment.
The QCD Program was developed after an extensive review of all forms of service delivery in the dental and vision benefit industry. The QCD Program is designed to allow for cost effective dental and vision benefit delivery without sacrificing the quality of care or the quality of service by the affiliated dentist or vision provider. The QCD Program offers each employer group an affordable dental and vision benefit alternative while providing each member with the best dental and vision benefit value in the market.
The QCD Program is offered to over 1,400 employer groups and 140,000 members in a variety of industries and has established an unsurpassed level of member satisfaction in all serviced markets. The QCD corporate mission is to provide the managed cost dental and vision industry’s premier program in terms of member and provider satisfaction.
The QCD Red Discount Plan does not meet the minimum creditable coverage requirements under M.G.L. c. 111M and 956 CMR 5.00. This plan is not a Qualified Health Plan under the Affordable Care Act. This is not a Medicare prescription drug plan. The range of discounts will vary depending on the type of provider and service. The plan does not pay providers directly. Plan members must pay for all services but will receive a discount from participating providers. The list of participating providers is at http://www.qcdofamerica.com/finddentists/index. A written list of participating providers is available upon request. You may cancel within the first 30 days after receipt of membership materials and receive a full refund, less a nominal processing fee (nominal fee for MD residents is $5, AR and TN residents will be refunded processing fee).
