QCD of America® (QCD) was founded in 1992 to provide a discount dental program that would bring value and quality to members. The QCD management team specifically designed the discount dental program to correct the operational problems associated with dental health maintenance organizations. The QCD discount dental program creates a win-win situation for the member and affiliated dentist. This simple operating philosophy has provided stability to the program for over sixteen years.
QCD management began expanding the product line in 2000 to include insurance reimbursement features for members that wanted to minimize out-of-pocket costs. Today, QCD has a strategic partnership with Independence Holding Company (NYSE: IHC) and delivers all insurance products through Madison National Life Insurance Company (AM BEST RATED A-).
